Such a fun evening with the MTSC team 🤝✨

We had the chance to host an interactive technical sales workshop with Valérie from Schneider Electric and it did not disappoint 💚

From learning the basics of consultative selling to actually putting it into practice through simulations and different case studies, it was the perfect mix of chill + hands-on

Not to mention the absolutely delicious, scrumptious, delectable, lip-smacking Banh Mis and sodas were the perfect touch to get our technical sales brains going 😋

Safe to say we’re feeling way more ready for the National Sales Engineering Conference hosted by the @national_sse 👀🔥

A week ago, we had the incredible opportunity to welcome a Sales Engineer from Trane to McGill. We learned how their engineering background helped them transition into a career in sales, gained valuable insights about the company, and received practical tips on tailoring our CVs.

Recap of an amazing night with Bombardier!

Two weeks ago, we had the incredible opportunity to welcome two sales engineers from Bombardier at McGill. We learned how their engineering backgrounds helped them transition into sales, picked up valuable tips and tricks for working with clients, and received some great career advice along the way!

Are you looking to apply your technical knowledge alongside your social skills? Look no further! The McGill Technical Sales Club (MTSC) is hiring executive positions for the 2026 school year!

This club offers the perfect environment to network, embrace your technical passions and get involved in the industry. You’ll enhance your technical expertise and develop impressive interpersonal abilities.

No previous experience is required to apply! You’ll learn along the way with MTSC.

Available Positions include:

- Logistics Partner:
Manages the logistics team to ensure all aspects are prepared prior to events. This includes coordinating with external companies to plan and execute events, overseeing all logistical details, and creating and maintaining event schedules to ensure smooth operations. The logistics partner is responsible for leading weekly meetings with logistics associates to plan and prepare for upcoming events.

- Logistics Associate:
Responsible for organizing internal and external club events. This role involves coordinating logistics, contacting companies or other student clubs, and ensuring events run smoothly from planning to execution.

- Marketing Associate:
Manages MTSC’s Instagram and LinkedIn accounts by promoting events as well as pitching and working on new ways to increase our outreach. You’ll also create engaging social media content using Canva and help strengthen the club’s online presence.

- Sponsorships Associate:
Leads outreach to potential sponsors for club events. This includes contacting food and beverage sponsors for discounts as well as engineering companies for event and club sponsorships.

- Operations Associate:
Supports the internal functioning of the club by handling administrative tasks, assisting with recruitment efforts, and helping streamline internal processes. This role makes sure that the club runs smoothly and efficiently internally.
